I really didn't want to do this tonight. It was the start of my holiday, it was freezing and raining and it is my least favourite session (except maybe 1.5 mile intervals). Two years ago I managed to organise a trip to Belgium to get myself out of hill repeats.
So it was a nice surprise to get out of the house and find the rain had stopped. I jogged down to the bottom of the nearest hill, and then did my 10 repeats all within 42-43 secs, feeling really strong and comfortable. I even toyed with the idea of doing two extra, not for long obviously.
Jogged quietly home and prepared for a couple of days off before a midweek long run on Thursday.
